I downgraded to version 10.5.4 since that was the most recent version I found that wouldn't automatically update to the "latest version" when using the Origin installer. I don't use Origin for anything besides SWBF2, so I don't know if using an older client might cause problems for other games, but SWBF2 seems to be working fine.

In the meantime though, since the Origin update was what caused the problem, I found that you can get mods working again by just uninstalling Origin and reinstalling an older version of the Origin client.
